All Sales Representatives from a trainee to an “old pro” experience feelings that need to be overcome to ensure sales success. These feelings represent resistances that include poor self-image, lack of self-confidence, call reluctance and the (refusal or) inability to follow packaged sales programs. Our professional and personal sales development program has been designed to assist the sales representative in overcoming these recognized "stumbling blocks” to sales success.

Our program employs techniques such as progressive relaxation, expanded states of awareness, ego strengthening, assertive training and desensitization. These techniques will enable the sales representative to improve their self-image and to minimize the fear of rejection.

OUR PROGRAM OBJECTIVES ARE TO:

  1. INCREASE SELF-IMAGE
    In many cases the sales representative may feel threatened or anxious when planning strategies with a client. They are unable to focus attention on the client and their needs. The National Center for Hypnosis can aid the sales representative in developing a positive self—image; thereby, allowing him/her to remain composed and alert to a clients cues without becoming blocked by anxiety. The sales representative will feel more relaxed and able to control and direct the sales presentation.
     
  2. INSTILL A FEELING OF SELF—CONFIDENCE
    A sales representative’s presentation is often inhibited by the fear of rejection. This fear denies both the client and the sales representative the focus of attention needed to achieve both person’s goals. The National Center for Hypnosis can assist the sales representative in exhibiting an air of self-confidence. This self-confidence establishes the feeling that the client will accept the services of the representative and that he/she is there mainly to design the proper program which fulfills the client’s needs.
      
  3. REDUCE CALL RELUCTANCE
    Call reluctance is also a major problem for the sales representative. By developing one’s self-image and self-confidence, and decreasing the fear of rejection, a sales representative will be able to increase the number of contacts made with clients. Statistically, this will increase the number of appointments and in turn will expand the opportunity for income.   4. ENABLE THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE TO INTEGRATE SALES PROGRAMS INTO THEIR PHESENTATION.
    Many sales representatives are unable to accept and integrate their company’s packaged sales programs into their presentations. Studies show that if a sales representative has complete confidence in the Company’s proven methods, his presentation will be mare effective. By accurately following training steps, the sales representative will be less apt to confuse or bore a client and Ms/her appointments will be more productive.

The techniques utilized at the National Center for Hypnosis are based on the recognized beneficial effects gained by the use of an expanded state of awareness. These techniques center around an increased feeling of self—control and a decrease in the pressure of anxiety.

An expanded state of awareness allows an individual to accept constructive suggestions into the subconscious. This state is usually characterized by a feeling of profound relaxation. The individual is completely aware of his surroundings. He is not asleep or unconscious and can hear sounds end voices, but the focus of his attention is beamed to the suggestions being given. Thus the subconscious mind is amenable and receptive to ideas and suggestions that specifically relate to their goal.
